What is a mother and toddler group?

A group for parents and carers with children, most of them both adults and children. Parent and toddler groups provide a meeting place for parents and carers with babies and small children to relax and chat together while children play. They offer opportunities for friendship, learning & fun!

 

What is the aim of the group?

To provide Mothers and Mothers – to – be a culture-sensitive approach

To provide a meeting place for parents to meet and make new friends.

To provide an opportunity for children to socialise with their peers.

To provide a wide variety of resources and stimulating activities for children.

To provide advice and support.

To have fun.

 

What happens in the group?

Babies play and explore in a safe area;

Free play with a good range of toys including larger equipment;

A craft activity that may involve cutting, sticking or painting;

Singing time often at the end of a session to allow for clearing away of toys;

a refreshment breaks for adults and children.

 

When its happening (date, time, and place)?

Venue on Dawson Centre, Bainsford, Falkirk, FK2 7RG.

Every Wednesday, open from 12.30 pm onwards to 3.00 pm.
